Why Godmother?
Godparents are chosen to act as secondary parents to children and are often seen as a source of wisdom for the growing child.
We see our role as similar to that. Business owners can rely on godmother as a secondary support system for their brand.
What's brand support?
Brand support is the range of services that a brand needs to grow and protect itself until it can be independent.
For example, a business may need support in designing their logo in the beginning but as it matures, it will seek support in other areas instead.

Why do you want companies to do branding on their own?
Learning to do things on your own saves you time and effort. If you could develop your own app, fix your own car, or cook any dish on the planet, you'd be happier.
We want companies to be able to do things on their own and get advice in a heartbeat, without entering into any contracts, because it's just better that way.

Why are you against agencies when you are an agency yourself?
We are against what the modern 'agency' has become, not agencies in general.
To give some perspective, Nike's iconic 'swoosh' cost them $35 to make (in 1971) and is now worth billions of dollars.
Today, high-end agencies would bill you in the 6-7 figure range which we feel is a little excessive and unnecessary.

Why don't you accept work from political candidates and the religious sector?
Godmother is non-sectarian, non-aligned, and non-denominational. We only work with ideas that do not exclude people based on their race, religion, or sexual orientation.
What else don’t you do?
We do not participate in pitches and we do not accept work from Government bodies or their representatives.
Is a branding agency a good business to have?
Yes it is. Branding agencies like advertising agencies provide creative solutions to companies. These services are not easy to come by and will need years of dedication to master.
Agencies typically make around 40% profit margins. In some services, they are actually higher than that.
How transparent are your prices?
As clear as ice.
Unlike the bloated pricing of other agencies, Godmother's pricing is based on the actual cost of the goods and services produced. Our profit margins on average are 15-20% of the price you are quoted. No numbers are hidden and all fees will be laid out for your inspection prior to transaction.

How can I save money with you?
Let's say you have a team that can execute for you but you do not have a clear direction for your brand. You can hire us to guide you on an hourly basis asking every question or throwing every single idea you have until you are satisfied.
You save money by not paying a project fee.
What is a project fee?
A project fee is what you pay for a project ;)
What’s the difference between coaching, training, and tactical?
At the moment we provide three kinds of services: Coaching, Training, and Tactical. You can mix and match the tool depending on what you need. The fees are one-time payments but are renewable.
Coaching is mostly 1-on-1 discussions with us and your team. It can be hourly starting from ₱750.00 or it can be monthly payments which you can cancel anytime.
Training is where we talk about a certain topic for you to learn. At the current crisis however, we have suspended this service.
And Tactical is where we do the heavy lifting. You will ask us to do something and we deliver it to you for a higher fee.
The branding services that Godmother offers are there to help you Grow, Manage, or Protect your brand.
If you want to be part of the action yourself, the branding tools are a good way to start your own brand building process. On the other hand, if you don’t have a lot of time, you can simply choose a branding program that’s right for you and we’ll do rest.
How much are your hourly fees?
Our rates start at ₱750.00 and are flexible depending on who you choose to work with.
We have partner consultants with different backgrounds and some fields are more specialized than others. If you work with a PhD consultant for example, it should cost around ₱4,495 per hour while working with a less specialized consultant should cost less. And if you work with a consultant who is based overseas, their rates start at ₱5,495 per hour.

Do you donate to charity?
Yes we do. We donate 10% of our profits to charity on our first year of operations and we double that percentage every year until 100 percent goes to charity.

Are you crazy, 100% of your profits will go to charity?
Yes, every cent of it. If donating our profits to help communities fight poverty, support orphans, provide livelihood, battle diseases sounds insane, then we are 100% crazy and proud of it.
